You may want to record (via handwritten, audio or video) lectures and other classroom presentations to help you better understand the material. You can share these recordings with your fellow students for things such as group projects or group studying. If you record a presentation, you must get approval from your instructor and fellow classmates to protect their privacy. Also, you cannot provide, sell or otherwise distribute to others any recordings you make without written consent from the instructor/presenter and the University Chancellor. Learn more about the University's policy on course recordings.
Regarding the possibility of missing a Live Online class session, please note that students are expected to attend each meeting in order to successfully complete a course. Meetings being recorded or not is at the discretion of your instructor. We recommend connecting with your instructor to determine if this option is available.
